Her ethereal voice and groovy lyrics captivated audiences nationwide, but it was her personal battle with cancer that truly set her apart. Having battling the disease for 2 years, Cat has channeled her experiences into her music, infusing her art with newfound depth and emotional resonance. Through storytelling over punchy bass lines, her work was a raw and vulnerable exploration of life, love, and loss, a testament to her strength and resilience. Sadly, Cat Janice passed away February 28th, 2024 due to complications related to cancer.
