How It Works

Option 1: Claim Existing Station

If your station is already in our database (from Radio Browser API):

  1. Search for your station by name
  2. Claim ownership by clicking the "Claim" button
  3. Verify you own the website by adding HTML code or uploading a file
  4. Start editing your station's information!

Option 2: Submit New Station

If your station is not yet in our database:

  1. Fill out the form with your station details
  2. Verify ownership of your website domain
  3. Wait for approval from our admin team (1-3 days)
  4. Your station goes live on RadioStar!

Ownership Verification

To ensure legitimate ownership, you must prove you control your station's website. Choose one method:

Method 1: HTML Meta Tag

Easier method - Recommended

Add a simple meta tag to your website's homepage:

  • Quick and easy
  • No file upload needed
  • Works with any CMS
Method 2: File Upload

Alternative method

Upload a verification file to your website's root directory:

Pros:
  • No HTML editing required
  • Simple file upload
  • Easy to test access
Important Notes:
  • You must own or control the homepage domain listed for your station
  • Verification tokens expire after 7 days (you can extend them)
  • Once verified, you can remove the verification code from your website
  • Stream URL and homepage can be on different domains (common with third-party streaming)

Amendment Approval Process

To maintain data quality, all changes go through a review process:

1. Submit Changes

Edit your station's information and submit your changes

2. Pending Review

Your amendments await admin review (typically 1-3 days)

3. Approved

Once approved, your changes go live immediately

4. Live on Site

All users see your updated information

What can you edit? Name, stream URL, homepage, logo, location, language, genres/tags, audio codec, bitrate, and more.

No, it's completely free! RadioStar's Station Owner Program is 100% free for all radio station owners.
That's perfectly fine! Many stations use third-party streaming services. You only need to verify ownership of your homepage domain.
Verification is instant once you've added the verification code to your website. Simply click "Verify Now" after adding the code.
Most amendments are reviewed within 1-3 business days. You'll be notified when your changes are approved.
Yes! You can claim and manage as many stations as you own. Each station requires separate ownership verification.
If an amendment is rejected, you'll see the reason in your amendment history. You can then make corrections and resubmit.
Yes! You can delete any pending amendments from your dashboard before they're reviewed by admins.
