About Xin Liu
Xin Liu, also known as Liu Yuxin (刘雨昕/劉雨昕), is a Chinese singer and dancer born on April 20th 1997 in Guizhou, China, In 2016, Xin Liu participated in the idol survival program 'Lady Bees' (蜜蜂少女队) and successfully debuted as a member of the girl group 蜜蜂少女隊 (LadyBees). In 2018, she released her eponymous debut EP XIN. Her rise to fame began after appearing as a contestant on the Chinese survival show 'Youth With You 2' in 2020, where she won first place and became the center of the girl group THE9. She has released several musical works since then, such as EPSILON (2021), XANADU (2021), and O (2024). She made her international stage debut at Coachella in 2024, as part of the 88rising Futures set. Xin Liu specializes in popping, and is an apprentice of the Chinese popper James Lin (林梦). She participated as a contestant in several dance-related programs such as 'Up Young!' (向上吧！少年) in 2012, 'So You Think You Can Dance' (舞林争霸) in 2013, 'Hot Blood Dance Crew' (热血街舞团) in 2018, 'Street Dance of China Season 2' (這！就是街舞第二季) in 2019, and 'Masked Dancing King' (蒙面舞王) in 2020. In 2022, she joined 'Street Dance of China Season 5' (這！就是街舞第五季) as a captain, becoming the first female captain in the program's history. She has also participated in several music-related Chinese variety shows, such as 'E-POP of China' (超感星电音) in 2022, 'Hit Song 2024' (有歌2024) in 2024, and 'Melody Roaming Season 3' (音你而来第三季) in 2026.
