About The Parrots
There are at least two bands called The Parrots. 1. The Parrots is a garage-surf trio from Madrid, Spain. 2. The Parrots were a new wave / ska band from Brighton, United Kingdom, formed by guitarist Rick Blair, who also ran the Attrix record shop and the record label of the same name. They débuted on the 'Vaultage 78' compilation LP of local talent. Two years later, in 1980, they issued a 4-track 12-inch EP. Rick Blair died in may 1999, aged 52.
