There are several artists with this name, including: 1. The man-machine known to frequent Battle of the Bits (also goes by the name Strobeflux) 2. STROBE were a Space Rock outfit formed in 1990 in Hertfordshire, UK. Three guitarists creating a sound based on hypnotic flowing rhythms where keyboards/synths take a backseat. The band recorded five official albums plus three EPs in total. Their highest quality manifested around the mid 1990s with the albums 'Maya' (1992) and 'The Circle Never Ends' (1994). STROBE played their last live gig back in 2001.
