About Plus One
There are several groups called Plus One. (for artists called +1 go to their wikipage) 1) An 80's new wave band who scored a major dance hit with "Nevermore." The song was a staple of influential DJ Richard Blade's line-up, and he included the song on a popular 80's cd compilation. 2) A Christian pop group formed by Atlantic Records in 2000. The band made up of vocalists Nate Cole, Gabe Combs, Jeremy Mhire, Jason Perry, and Nathan Walters remains one of the best selling artists in Christian pop. After suffering label woes and mis-management, the group disbanded in the fall of 2004. Plus One remains the best-selling, award-winning group responsible for more than 1.2 million records sold over just a couple years. Nate Cole and Gabe Combs are currently residing in California, promoting their new band Castledoor while Nathan Walters continues pursuing a solo career in Nashville. 3) Electronica musician appearing mainly on the deFocus record label, first album produced by Plaid. 4) A Japanese idol group, formerly known as Koi Suru Freak and KoiFuri before settling on the Plus One name in August 2019. 5) Dublin Producer And DJ Plus One (AKA Matt Finnegan)
