About Perfect Strangers
1. Perfect Strangers was a synthpop band out of Concord, California. Their sound was synth-heavy and upbeat, and the band released only one EP, Fascination 12" before dissolving. The band reformed under the name Skindeep in the mid-80s. 2. Perfect strangers are also a rock band from Koper (Slovenia), active since 2012. 3. There was also a band from Christchurch, New Zealand in the early 1980's called Perfect Strangers. 4. Perfect Strangers are also a jangle pop band from Gainesville, FL. 5. Perfect Strangers was a band that existed from the Fall of 1984 until January, 1989. Their first album, "Protected in America", was released in the spring of '86. Principals were Scott Coopwood and Kris Wilkinson. The band was started in the Mississippi Delta, but based in Jackson, MS. The band was greatly influenced by R.E.M. and Mitch Eastel's band, Let's Active. 6. Perfect Strangers are also a hard rock band who are currently based in North London, active since 2020.
