About Osanna

Osanna were a '70s Italian psychedelic rock/progressive band, but they are still active, featuring almost the same lineup, with the addition of Lino's son. They made the soundtrack for the film Milano Calibro 9. Their album Palepoli, released in 1972, is regarded as one of the finest hours of the Italian progressive rock movement. Osanna was formed in 1971. The band was then composed of Danilo Rustici (guitar), Lino Vairetti (vocals), Lello Brandi (bass) and Massimo Guarino (drums), from the band Citta Frontale, and by Elio D'Anna coming from the band Showmen. They are going to release a new album soon, featuring a notable list of guest stars.
