About Oceanic

There are three artists that go by the name of Oceanic. 1. Oceanic is the name under which Dutch DJ and electronic music producer Job Oberman releases his music. He has been a producer and creative entrepreneur in music, theatre, radio and other fields for many years. Under the Oceanic moniker released singles and EPs and a live album (Live at De School, 2018), before releasing a full length studio album, Choral Feeling, in early 2023. 2. Oceanic are a 3-piece experimental, instrumental rock band from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Their music blends elements of math rock, progressive rock, and post metal in the vein of bands such as Don Caballero, Battles, and Hella. They released their debut album titled Origin in August 2014. 3. Oceanic are David Harry and Jorinde Williams, a two-piece dance/pop writing and production team based in Liverpool, United Kingdom. A third member, Frank Crofts left in the the mid-1990s. The band is currently signed to AATW Records.
