There are multiple bands with this name: 1) Margot comprises of five friends who moved from the suburbs of south London to Peckham after finishing University. In two separate bands at the time, drunken nights out discussing the merits of a merger evolved into the first few rehearsals. It went well - Margot formed in 2018 and released a steady stream of singles across the year. The band employ a DIY ethic, self-producing their recordings in their home studio. After ending 2019 supporting Swimming Tapes on their UK tour, the band released their debut EP in February 2020 and are set to support Dana Gavanski on her upcoming tour in March 2021. Margot's nuanced blend of dream-pop, neo-psychedelia and jangle-guitar create a propulsive, cruising feel reminiscent of Real Estate or War on Drugs. Expect to hear more from them in 2020 and beyond. 2) Margot is a duo formed by two Italians guys: Pepe and Giaga. Pepe began his musical experience when he was 14 studying rhythmics, while Giaga took his first step in the music world playing the piano and singing at 14. At 16 years old, they both got very interested in electronic music and now since more than ten years the two italian producers are working in the best underground clubs in Rimini (Cocoricò, Classic Club and Echoes) and Italy. Lots of projects realized by this duo quickly got into the most famous Italian and international djs’ cases: Giaga Robot “Every Monday”, Margot "Autumn", Margot meet M.Makers "Torch ", Russian linesman "Bratislava Story (Margot Rmx), Margot - Lutammato, Margot - Goblin Think ( released on their label and played by James Holden for many months) and many more... Margot do live sets combining vinyl, software, effects and creativeness, with a great result, they are always original and different. 3) Margot is a rock band from the Netherlands formed in 2012. They make rock music with psychedelic influences. Their sound is a mix between grunge, psychedelic, new - wave and post-punk rock. 4) Margot est un jeune groupe de Rock Français dont le premier album s'intitule Manipulation 5) Margot is an experimental solo project from Greece. Genres, sound and language vary between songs.
