About Liv Maessen

Liv Maessen rose to fame as an Australian pop singer in 1969 after appearing on a TV talent competition in which she finished second. Agruably her biggest hit was a cover version of "Knock Knock Who's There" in 1970. It quickly rose in the charts and went gold making Liv the first female artist in Australia to 'go gold'. Liv recorded other pop and country singles up until 1974. Her performing career turned to cabaret and TV until she ceased performing toward the end of the seventies.
