About Jehnny Beth

Jehnny Beth (pseudonym for Camille Berthomier, born 24 December 1984 in Poitiers, France) is a French songwriter, vocalist and actress, best known as the lead singer of Savages. Beth's debut solo record, To Love Is to Live (2020), included collaborations with Joe Talbot (of IDLES) and Romy Madley Croft (of The XX). Her sophomore solo album, You Heartbreaker, You, followed in 2025. Beth also released two collaborative projects, notably the film score Xy Chelsea (Original Soundtrack) (2019, with Johnny Hostile) and the duet album, Utopian Ashes (2021, with Bobby Gillespie of Primal Scream).
