Desertron ~ Ödeborg, Sweden Hard Rock/Stoner Rock The music that Desertron produces is grounded with hard rock of the early 70's, topped with grunge, metal and stoner from the 90's and seasoned with a little jazz and folk. The expression is landing in a very interesting modern composition without comparison in the present. The forests, lakes, meadows and it's inhabitants that give flavour to Desertrons sound, are key ingredients to the unique songwriting. You won't let music like this pass by unnoticed, unless you're dead. If you want to get inspired, if you let yourself be affected, if you need to get away, then you should know that the music of Desertron always will be your North Star. Desertron consists of: Singer Tönnes Skyman. This man has previously worked as a street musician for several years and it has led him to develop a very loud voice. And a busker's ass. On guitar you hear Pete. Almost all of the time A drummer like no other is also available. His name is Emil Frisk and he truly loves to play the drums. It swings a lot when he plays and no one can help but swing along. He can also play the most technical and progressive drum beats you can imagine. Last but not least there is the spider in the web. The producer, engineer, studio owner, teacher, manager, pusher and bassist Johan Dahlström. All that's been done for the past quarter century has been boiled down to what you hear on the album we just released. The ultimate goal is not yet reached, and he keeps on until a pit is dug.
