Carpetriders ~ Langley, BC Canada Classic Rock, Psychedelic, Stoner Rock, Grunge Carpetriders is a 4-piece grungy psychedelic classic rock band from Langley, B.C. that have been honing their music in the underground scene of the lower mainland. The musical diversity of each member culminates into a melting pot of genre, making each track feel different than the next. The first EP is in the final stages of mixing. It was recorded at Nimbus School of Recording Arts (owned by Bob Ezrin and Garth Richardson) and will be released via CD and digital download in September 2013. It will be accompanied by an album release party and a social media campaign. The band was formed in the summer of 2008 when Dwayne Morgan (Guitar, Keys, Vox), Adam McMorris (Bass, Vox), James Tungate (Guitar, Vox) and Eddie Weber (Drums, Vox) decided to get together and do some jamming. It was decided they would take their time to develop the songs and really gel as a band, and it wasn't until 2013 that they felt they were ready to show everyone what they could do. The second EP has already been written and they will be going back into the studio to record it before the first EP has even been released. So keep an ear out for Carpetriders' style of classic modern hard rock, coming to a media player near you.
