Billy has been referred to as equal parts Argybargy era Squeeze and early Elvis Costello, along with bits and pieces of Midnight Oil and Billy Bragg. 2) The solo project of Bill Kaulitz, frontman of german band Tokio Hotel. The first EP was released in 2016 3) Billy (ビリー) is a relatively new indies Visual Kei band, but already have a big fanbase. They tend to play a wide range of different music such as metal, rock, blues and ballads. The band started in November 2004 with the three ex-bandmembers from バ×ツ (Baxtu): BAKU (ex.YU-KI) (vocals), Takuma (guitar) and Hiroshi (drums). Tsubuku (bass) and Mi-ne (ex. Akira) (guitar) joined them soon. Their first performance was one month later, and they had 5 more secret concerts after it. Their first single 試聴R -ダシヌキ edition- was released on the 15th of January 2005 on the day of their performance in the Ikeburo Cyber. A regular version was released soon after. ビリー kept on performing and released their first mini-album: ベイビースグッバイ (Babies, goodbye). On the 21st of May, they were having their first one-man concert, and selling their single Beautiful Goodbye. They recently released their first full length album, Bouquet, on January 16 2008.
