About Alpha Strategy
Praha, Czech Republic-based noise rock band Alpha Strategy began in Toronto, Canada in 2011 as the solo project of Rory Hinchey. The new album Drink the Brine, Get Scarce was recorded by esteemed studio engineer Steve Albini at Electrical Audio studios in Chicago, and was released on March 7, 2016 on cassette and via streaming and free .mp3 download. To date, Alpha Strategy has played concerts in nearly 30 countries, including a summer Central and Eastern European tour in support of the 2014 Alpha Strategy LP. The band has been fortunate enough to share the stage with acts such as Kid Congo & The Pink Monkey Birds, Father Murphy, Ought, Batalj, Crown Larks, Pet Sun, and Vomitface, amongst many others. Current lineup: Rory Hinchey - vocals (formerly electronics, guitars); Martin Doležal - guitars; Ondřej Červený - bass; Filip Miškařík - drums. Former members: James McAdams - guitars; Aaron Parent - bass; Ben O'Brien - bass (formerly drums); Dan Edwards - bass; Evan Sidawi - drums. http://www.alphastrategy.net
