About Vinz
Vinz made his first songs in 1998, inspired by pre-WWII blues, detached art rock and industrial ambiences. The songs appeared on several compilations (Blokhiton, Chelonia Mydas, Boyz Revenge). His version of « Always on my mind » was praised by Les Inrockuptibles for its moving simplicity. After winning a demo contest organized by Ancienne Belgique (Brussels) in 2005, other musicians joined for the sake of depth and intensity on stage: Teuk Henri (Sharko - guitar), Catherine De Biasio (Mièle - drums, backings) and Karel de Bondt (aka Charles Dibby - bass). They played at several places in Belgium (Ancienne Belgique, Escalier, Kinky Star..). The band's debut cd 'The Weeder Of Things' will be released in the spring of 2007.
