The Zen Circus is a punk band settled in Pisa, Italy. Known as one of the best live acts in Italy they became a cult band for the italian underground audience. After years of touring, busking and making records in their own country they lately involved Brian Ritchie from the Violent Femmes into their very first international album "Villa Inferno". Brian Ritchie produced the album and played as the fourth member. "Villa Inferno" contains songs in English, Italian, French and Serbian and the precious appereances of Kim & Kelley Deal (Pixies/Breeders) and Jerry Harrison (Talking Heads). It will be in stores by February 2008 and the band will start touring with Brian Ritchie in Italy first then Europe and Australia.
