About The Mollusk
The Mollusk AKA Shane Vigo was formed in 2001, and after several lite pressed release's went back to the studio to re-develop and expand his unique sound. The Mollusk strayed away from the more ambient style of electronic music and started to experiment with a glitchy upbeat dance vibe, taking inspiration from 70's Funk, Disco, Electro, dub-step and just about everything else! In more recent years The Mollusk has been churning out funky, dynamic, animated beats at such party's as Renaissance, Rainbow, Winter Solstice and much more. The Mollusk's idiosyncratic sound will have you questioning where reality ends and the land of milk and honey begins, he's formula of bringing together ageless classic sounds with a glitchy, fat, sloppy mid range and rolling bass has the crowd twirling, playing spinning and toppling over.
