There are at least five artists with the name The Captain. Dutch four-piece eclectic style band. Their songs revolve around everyday themes and national culture stereotypes as well as political and ethical statements. Woven through all this, a motive of native american culture keeps returning. Their only album to date is called "Let the bon times rouler", which represents the interlangual content it holds. Initially breaking the scene through his wild remixes and mashups, (Like the "We will Rock you" remix) The Captain is now a well established and known name in the Funky Breaks and Ghetto Funk scene. Many of his tracks have been gaining support from the likes of Krafty Kuts, Daddy G (Massive Attack), Freddy Fresh, Ursula 1000, Fort Knox Five, Skeewiff, Smoove, and Featurecast to name a few.
