Teodora Pavlovska (Serbian Cyrillic: Теодора Павловска; born 1992 in Bor, Serbia), known professionally as Teya Dora (Теја Дора), is a Serbian singer and songwriter. She is best known for her single "Džanum", which has gained popularity on the social media platform TikTok and various musical platforms. Teya Dora is an exceptional artist based in Belgrade, Serbia, whose recent smash single “Džanum" has reached more than 100+ million total streams worldwide. As a little girl, she accompanied her father with her voice on the guitar, discovering Serbian folk music, western rock and pop sounds. This symbiosis is still evident in her today’s work. Modern pop gets combined with R&B vibes, traditional Balkan influences and her native Serbian language. At the age of 5, she learned to play the piano, took lessons in opera singing and started her music studies. At the age of 16, she took part in an audition at the internationally renowned Berklee College of Music and won a music scholarship. The following year she went to Boston for the scholarship, got to know the American culture and developed her singing and songwriting skills, before recording her first track. Teya Dora moves a multimillion following worldwide, especially Gen-Z, with her unique signature style. Her songs are distinctive and combine confident strength with melancholic fragility. "At the beginning of a song, there is always a certain feeling", says Teya.
