In 1999 Darren Styles teamed up with another well known hardcore DJ, Mark Breeze and together they formed Styles & Breeze...again receiving many plaudits in the hardcore world. Darren has been the co-writer behind the following hit singles: • Pretty Green Eyes – Ultrabeat – no.2 in 2003 (Originally by Force & Styles) • Feeling Fine – Ultrabeat – no. 12 in 2003 (Originally by Styles) • Heart of Gold – Kelly Llorenna – no.19 in 2002 (Originally by Force & Styles) • Field of Dreams – Flip & Fill – no. 28 in 2003 (Originally by Force & Styles) With Styles and Breeze he has also had the following hits as artist, producer and writer: • You’re Shining – no.19 in 2004 • Heartbeatz – no.16 in 2005 Late 2006 saw Darren make a clean sweep at the Hardcore Awards, winning Best DJ, Best Producer and Save Me won single of the year. "Save Me" will be followed by his debut album which contain all of his best tracks over his career plus a plethora of new material on a double album. "Save Me" is to be released in the UK on 12 March digitally, with the CD available the week after. There is both a hardcore and ballad version available with some fantastic club versions on the package. Darren is also responsible along with Breeze and Hixxy, for the biggest selling UK hardcore compilation series – Clubland X-Treme Hardcore which has now racked up sales of over 450,000 across it’s 3 volumes.
