Sharzy is the nickname of Samson Allan Saeni, a musician from The Solomon Islands. Sharzy means "brother" in his local language. This Melanesian musician has always been interested in music since his youth and claims his influence is in easy-listening and country. His music is also influenced by reggae, which is also very popular in Melanesia and The Pacific region. Despite these influences, his music is distinctly Melanesian and mixes aspects of Polynesian music as well.
