About Shabda Hari Das
'Shabda Hari Das', is a young and talented world/electronic music producer, based in the culture-rich land of India. His musical influences have been quite diverse from his childhood days, ranging from western classical music to rock, pop, electronic dance music and traditional indian music. Being a professionally qualified sound engineer/designer himself, he has managed to fuse both eastern and western moods in a beautiful and unique way in many of his productions and collaborations. ‘Shabda’ has a 10 year background in Christian choral singing, used to be a DJ, and also plays a traditional Indian percussion instrument known as the ‘Khol’ or ‘Mrdanga’ as well as the Indian harmonium. The songs from his latest album ILLUMINIZE http://www.illuminize.com/ have had some raving reviews from listeners around the world. The experimental fusion of ancient vedic texts blended with modern sonic textures make it a unique experience and a treat to its listeners, very unconventional in concept. ‘Shabda’ also owns and runs an independent record company along with his wife Vanita, ‘Supersoul Records’.
