About Kadamba Kanana Swami
Kadamba Kanana Swami is an ISKCON swami and is also a member of the faculty at Bhaktivedanta College Belgium where he teaches in the subject area titled 'Introspection and Devotion'. Kadamba Kanana Swami was in charge of the construction of Srila Prabhupada's Pushpa Samadhi Mandir in Mayapura and remained there from 1985 to 1990. From 1990 'till 1995 he was serving as the temple president of the renowned Krishna Balarama Mandir in Vrindavana. There was an attempt on his life in 1995 and after recovery he became a Sannyasi in 1997. Kadamba Kanana Swami accepted Sanyasa from his guru Jayadvaita Swami and is presently an initiating guru within ISKCON. Kadamba Kanana Swami is widely renowned both within and without ISKCON for the devotional content of his Bhajans and Kirtans. Two albums have been released to date of Kadamba Kanana Swami's performances. The first is titled 'Brhad Mrdanga' and the second 'Vaisnava Seva'.
