About Section One
The prolific Section One started out producing music only with computer and tracker programs back in the Commodore and Amiga days. After buying a sampler and some gear and building his sound for a couple years, he moved in together with fellow H.I. producer Emilsson and began several sideprojects. Combining their distinct influences and similar production styles, Section One and Emilsson produced under the names Rotary Outputs, G11, Similarmind and The M Men, releasing numerous records with Swedish labels. As a solo producer, Mikael has released as Section One, Absorb Project and under his own name. These solo projects focus more specifically on techno and techy forms of dance music, and these are the sounds he brings to us at Heavy Industries. Also an accomplished DJ, you'll be hearing more from this man in the future so stay tuned for future Section One mixes.
