About Scarmind
Bio Hard Rock and Alternative Metal band from Lisbon, Portugal preparing to release debut EP in 2016 Coming from the Sintra area, the Scarmind sing for a melodic Hard Rock with heavy riffs and vocal harmonies from various influences from Alternative Rock and Alternative Metal like Alter Bridge, Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold, Bon Jovi, Pearl Jam, Guns N 'Roses, 5 Fingers Death Punch, among others. The band is currently composed of guitarists and vocalists Márcio Belezas and Quim Ventura, bassist Vasco Alves and drummer Luís Paulino. With very defined goals, the Scarmind aim to make their music known as well as the sharing of Portuguese Rock from other bands through the various stages where they are treading. They have gone through several stages to date, such as the Expo Marina, Insanity Rock Fest, It's All About Rock at Nirvana Studios, Rock Theater, Ourearte Festival in Ourém, Penicheiros in Barreiro, among others sharing the stage with various bands such as the Witness My Fall, Legacy Of Cinthia, Sunia, Stonerust among many others. They are preparing the premiere EP "Newborn" for the end of 2016! "Looking Back" is the first single of breakthrough and is already available on youtube and on the band's official Facebook page.
