About Rya Park
London born, Melbourne based soul/rock singer Rya Park began her solo career at the end of 2016. She has established herself as “a powerhouse vocalist with a penchant for blues-rock guitar fuzz” (Red Bull). Joining forces with producer Peter Farnan (Boom Crash Opera) on her debut single ‘Billy’ (2017) and most recent release 'Tokyo' (2018) ,Rya Park received rave reviews from the likes of Peking Duk, Nkechi Anele (Saskwatch) and Red Bull Australia, landing radio play across the nation with Triple J and our much loved community radio stations. Rya Park has had an exciting few years – collaborating with the likes of Ford Miskin (Oblivion ft. Rya Park) and Toyah Hoetzel (Madness This Love ft. Rya Park), Will Wagner (Smith Street Band) and Olivia Hally (Oh Pep!). Rya Park has sold out local music venues such as The Workers Club (Melbourne) and The Gasometer Hotel, sharing the stage with Angie McMahon, Ben Whiting & Tyne-James Organ.
