About Rest Point

Project “Rest Point” was formed in the begining of 2003. The founders of the project are artists from Orenburg city. In 2006 “Rest Point” became the resident of Tranceport Recordings label. Such tracks as Super String Theory and Affective - Unable Dreams (Rest Point Remix) became permanent participants of TRANCEPORT radio show (NRJ radio 104.2 FM Moscow). In spring of 2007 track “Galo” was presented on the biggest promo-pool ReleasePromo. Paul Oakenfold gave to that track appraisal 7 from 10. One week later after that “Galo” was included into the rotated in all the world radio show "A State Of Trance with Armin Van Buuren" Episode #292. “Galo” took the third place according to the results of voting on the biggest trance – portal Trance.Nu. Then “Galo” was included to Featured Releases and to the BeatPort (http://www.beatport.com/) as well as to the Recommended Tracks internet-shop AudioJelly (http://www.audiojelly.com/). In April the remix on A.Polyakov(ex PPK) feat Kate Cameron - My Heart was finished, it was released on iRecords label. In August 2007 John Askew supported “Galo”. He played it on the bigest rave of Europe "Nature One". John Askew gave “Galo” the 5th place in his mohthly “Top10”. Such Rest Point`s tracks as Super String Theory & Abstract Vision – Hurricane (Rest Point Touch The Sky Remix) were included by the Rest Po int. January`09 Press Release first DJ of the Planet - Armin van Buuren in his radio show “A State Of Trance # 324”. “Galo” was released on famous Britain label “Discover (Recover World/Supreme Music)” in compilation “Live As vol.4 Los Angeles” mixed by John Askew & Sean Tyas. Track “Blaster” was supported by DJ Tiesto in his Clublife RadioShow # 45 Rest Point is actively developing project. It has its own radio show on MegapolisFM Moldova and Hit FM Russia. In May`08 CD-compilation The Music Of Night Steps step.1 Mixed&Compiled by Rest Point was released on Tranceport Recordings. At now now the first album from Rest Point is almost finished. The second part of compilation The Music Of Night Steps in a format of double Audio-CD also prepares.
