About Rebeka Dremelj

Multi-talented Rebeka Dremelj was born on July 25 1980 in Slovenia. She was Miss Slovenia 2001 and won 2nd place at the Miss World Talent Show. After that she started her professional singing career. In 2008, after few attempts, she was finally chosen to represent Slovenia on Eurovision Song Contest in Belgrade. Unfortunately, she didn't pass the semifinal, ending 11th. In 2011 she has released a song called "Askalcin" - a cover of the "Aspirin" - one of the most popular songs of Seka Aleksić, Serbian turbo-folk singer. Later that year, she took part in Montenegrian "Suncane skale" festival with the song "Odavno te ne volim" [Long I don't love you], where, eventually, she was 5th
