About Rattlemouth

Rattlemouth began in the fall of 1989 as an offshoot of the Ululating Mummies with Danny Finney on saxophones and Robbie Kinter on drums. In 1995, close friend George Lowe (who at the time was not a member of Rattlemouth) wisely invited Steve Feigenbaum (of Cuneiform Records) to a Rattlemouth show at the Hole In The Wall. That night during the break Steve initated the working relationship between Rattlemouth and Cuneiform. "Walking a Full Moon Dog" was released in 1996. Shortly thereafter the trio stormed into the studio, recording the second CD, "Fist Full Of Iffy", in two days. They played successful shows with Medeski, Martin, and Wood and Belgian prog rockers Present. Then things took a turn for the worse. Soon after the release of "Fist Full Of Iffy" the band stopped rehearsing. Only in September of 2003 was the band revived. Rattlemouth is: Danny Finney - Saxophones; Robbie Kinter - Drums; Marc S. Langelier - Bass; George Lowe - Guitar.
