About RIGHEIRA
Righeira is an Italo Disco duo (from Turin, Italy) founded in 1981 by Stefano Rota and Stefano Righi. They became famous in continental Europe with their single Vamos a la playa ("Let's Go To The Beach", 1983). A year later it was followed up by their next single No tengo dinero ("I Have No Money", 1984). Both singles were successful in the charts . L'estate sta finendo ("The Summer Is Over", 1985), another single release in 1985 was a number one hit in Italy but didn't peak the charts in other countries. In 1986 the band participated in the San Remo Music Festival with their song Innamoratissimo ("Most In Love", 1986) and placed 15th. The duo disband in 1988 however reformed in 1998 Their latests album was released in 2007.
