About R. Armando Morabito
Ray Armando Morabito (R. Armando Morabito) is an electronic music producer and songwriter based in Los Angeles, CA. He was born in New Delhi, India and adopted and raised by Dr. Francesco Morabito and Luisella Borra in northern Italy. Film and music have always been Ray's passions, which led him to pursue a Bachelors degree in Art Sciences from the University of Turin in Italy and a Masters in Filmmaking from the London Metropolitan University. Ray also received a diploma in Screen Acting / Performing Arts from the London Academy of Media, Film & TV, and an Associates certificate from The London International Film School. Ray started his career in London directing commercials and promotional videos for Audi, Levi's, Kodak, Ferrero, and BBC Television. Ray's first short film "Eternal Love", which he wrote, directed and scored, was inspired by a Caspar David Friedrich painting from the collection of the National Gallery of London. The film premiered at the gallery theatre and was on display as a part of its film exhibition. He also composed several soundtracks for films and commercials throughout Europe and America between 2006 and 2009. While continuing to work as a director, Mr. Morabito opened a marketing and advertising firm in Italy in 2009. His company provided clients with services in brand development, business strategy, and viral marketing. In 2013, Ray met his wife, world-renowned cellist Tina Guo, and moved to Los Angeles, CA where they founded MG Music Int'l, a music production company. Since arriving in America, Ray's music has been featured on ABC, FOX, NBC, CBS, The CW, MTV, ESPN, USA Network, Discovery Channel, National Geographic, and in Call of Duty: Ghosts. He also composed music for a Mercedes campaign and the official trailer for MMORPG ArcheAge. Mr. Morabito released his debut album "Days of Tomorrow" in 2014. The album features guest artists including his wife Tina, YouTube sensation Malukah, and award winning vocalist Lisbeth Scott, who was featured on the soundtracks of Avatar, Transformers, Munich, The Passion of the Christ and The Chronicles of Narnia. Ray is currently in production of his second album "My Infinity" to be released in 2016. In addition to music, he's involved in real estate, business, and private investments. Ray is also a passionate supporter of the Humane Society of the United States, and the Los Angeles Children's Hospital
