Young Sydney 3 piece RÜFÜS are making waves both locally and internationally with their electronic dance floor driven pop melodies. Since their inception in the hills of sunny Byron Bay mid 2010 the guys have been on the receiving end of some serious accolades. Their EP saw them heralded internationally throughout the blogosphere as 'the band to watch' amongst the Australian indie dance scene, with their tracks ''Paris Collides' & 'We Left' reaching No.8 & No.13 on the Hype Machine charts. While garnering radio play all over Europe and North America. RÜFÜS have immersed themselves in the DIY aesthetic that Australian electronic bands like The Midnight Juggernauts are famous for. Writing and recording their own EP; releasing it on their own label (www.monekeleon.com); PRing it themselves, booking their own shows, directing their own film clips and doing their own artwork where possible. Coming into summer 2011 they're looking to take their live show across the country.
