About Pleasure Curses
Pleasure Curses are a duo (Jahn Alexander Teetsov & Evan Maxwell Grice) based out of Washington DC/VA who take influences from new wave, disco, synth pop and early electronic dance music. They met while attending the same summer camp when they were 10 years old and started making music together again after a chance meeting a decade later. After trading home demo recordings and experimenting with electronic sampling and production techniques, they self-released a string of singles, remixes and an EP with a strong DIY ethic that runs from the music to live visual projections and album artwork of their releases.
