He plays numerous instruments, mainly guitar and piano, and is respected both by his peers in the London Folk scene (Laura Marling as a band member, Mumford & Sons, Ethan Johns) and US artists such as Ryan Adams. Whilst his guitar style owes much to British folk guitarists of the 1960s such as Bert Jansch and John Martyn, his songwriting owes more to American songwriters such as Paul Simon, Neil Young and indeed Ryan Adams - whom he cites as an influence and now a fan. His debut album, "Propeller", was released in 2006. His album ‘Our Beloved Bubble’ was released in 2013 and features the full versions of recent double A-side taster ‘Midnight:Mystery’. The remainder of the album covers a broad range of themes, all highly evocative offerings which trawl Pete’s encounters, ruminations, pub studies, love and friendships; at times in awe, at times angry, and all set against rich, sometimes delicate musical backdrops. Accompanied by other transatlantic musical nomads Ross Holmes and Matt Menefee hailing from Nashville, the album’s final touches came from acclaimed producer Ethan Johns. 2) Peter Roe is a Finnish film music composer and guitarist born in Helsinki. Roe started to compose music in mid 90s with tracker software. In 2006 he was introduced to East West libraries. Roe specializes in Dramatic and Electronic music with genuine cinematic flair. From intense edge-of-your-seat cues to the beautifully stoic emotional tracks, he writes in a wide range of styles and a dozen genres, including action, suspense, adventure, fantasy, and drama.
