Pasteur Lappe is a Cameroonian funk master from Douala. His story begins in the 60s when he befriends African music stars such as Tala AM, J Moboule and Fela Kuti. After moving to Paris, he settles into a new life of music. Pasteur makes a trio of albums from 1979 to 1981. At their core t is the "Sekele" groove... a movement to encompass the dance, grooves and vibes from his native Douala.
