There are multiple artists using the name Pero: 1) The mysterious figure behind both Pero is none other than Montreal's own Samuel Perreault, a longtime local DJ who began releasing music in 2002 on Mossa's Complot and then on Eloi Brunelle's Epsilonlab imprint. Since then he has released several EP's on his netlabel, Peromusic and on Epsilonlab as well. Not one to sit down at his laptop for live performances, Perreault has instead opted to bolster the eye-catching dynamic of his shows with synthesizers and with children's keyboards and other toys. 2) There was a german experimental minimal "oneman" band called Pero. He released one track on the tape-sampler "Spandauer Tatendrang Sampler" in 1982. He also released some Tapes: * Plastikmusik 1982 * Peros Plastikmusik 2 1983 * Alles Wurscht 1984 3) PERO - Japanese rock band from Hiroshima. Previously known as ペロペロしてやりたいわズ。 (2015-2018).
