From his very first European performance (support act for THE AMHARIC, Fool Moon – Brussels in 1999) to this day, OMAR PERRY’s reputation has steadily grown, both in Belgium and in Europe (France, Germany, Spain, etc.) “Roots and Culture” aficionados were hence able to discover and enjoy him in: • SOUND SYSTEM, as support act for HORACE ANDY (the voice behind Massive Attack), SLY & ROBBIE + MIKAEL ROSE, MAD PROFESSOR or even ASIAN DUB FOUNDATION…, omar how is playing live shows now plays at the DOUR, COULEUR CAFE, FIESTA DU ROCK festivals… and other international venues, such as the Lille Aéronef, in the, FEEST IN HET PARK, FETES DE LA MUSIQUE festivals, at the AB as support act for BUJU BANTON, or, more recently, with the HOMEGROWN BAND (France), as support act for HORACE ANDY – France March 2005, where he played the Elysée Montmartre. our « Roots & Culture » release his first single "rasta meditation" produced by adrian sherwood.yes the reggae ambassador at large, certainly did not waste any time, just came off a european tour in 2007 with jah mason omar is now working on different level, a level we can say is as good as the best >
