About Moonunit
Moonunit started as the product of various illicit jamming sessions between a bunch of 10 or so wasted teenagers. After a pleasant evening's smoking in a cemetary, the members were narrowed down to a mere 6 and the name was decided upon. After a couple more lineup changes the final group of 5 miscreants you see before you came about. Moonunit have all been close friends for many years and are brought together by their love of music and partying alike. Their first EP, "Dead Doves" was released February 2007 and combines the classic sound of 70s prog with the attitude and heaviness of 90s alternative rock.
