There are four recording artists known as "MJB". One is the famous r&b singer Mary J. Blige, who uses the nickname MJB, but has not officially released under that name. Her first release was in the early 1990s. Another is the lofi recording artist Michael J. Bowman, who released cassettes and CDRs under the name MJB starting in 1989. In 2006 he changed his recording project name to Velveeta Heartbreak. Another is the San Francisco punk band M.J.B., named after the famous coffee company. They realeased a DIY vinyl LP in the late 1980s called "How To Abandon Earth". Another is an acoustic jam trio from New Jersey. M, J, and B represent the first names of each member in the band. The band primarily records live from B's balcony using M's handheld recorder.
