About Matt Redman
Matt Redman (born Feb. 14, 1974) is a British Christian worship leader, singer-songwriter, and author who has been a prominent figure in contemporary worship music. He was previously a worship leader associated with the Soul Survivor organization and currently works with Passion Conferences. Redman now resides in California with his wife Beth and their five children. His music has resonated with audiences worldwide, with iconic songs like The Heart of Worship, Let Everything That Has Breath, Once Again, and the award-winning Blessed Be Your Name (Worship Song of the Year, 2005 GMA Awards). In 2006, he followed up with the album Beautiful News featuring hits like You Never Let Go and Shine. Redman's album 10,000 Reasons (2011), co-written with friends, achieved remarkable success, reaching #66 on the Billboard 200 and nearly doubling the sales of his previous album. This accomplishment was further solidified by his two Grammy Awards for the song 10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord). In 2019, Redman signed with Integrity Music, following a successful run with Six Steps Records on his previous albums. Redman's influence extends beyond music. He has authored and edited several books on Christian worship, including enduring titles like "The Unquenchable Worshipper" and the book Facedown which accompanied the album of the same name. In 2021, he launched the podcast "Redman & Riddle," co-hosted with fellow worship artist Jeremy Riddle. Matt Redman released his fourteenth studio album, Lamb of God, in February 2023, following the debut single Son of Suffering.
