About Marieke
After her participation on Dutch Idol 2003, she had her breakthrough with the song "Just be Happy", which reached the top ten in her homecountry. Her 2nd release, "I'm a fool", reached #22 in the Dutch Charts. Unfortunately this was her last solo-single. In 2005, she incorporated a song with actress and sister Aukje van Ginneken. The song, "Be where you wanna", reached #23 in the Dutch charts. After this cooperation Marieke paid herself on the motherhood. Though, she still has the ambition and interest in new projects.
