There are two artists by this name. 1) Birgit Schuurman (July 1, 1977, Utrecht, Netherlands) (artist name Birgit) is a Dutch rock singer and actress. Birgit started singing in her final years of school. In the beginning these were pretty much unknown R&B and dance projects. In 1995 she started singing in the band Jeunes Turcs with her older sister Katja Schuurman.
