Molde born singer Mari Kvien Brunvoll has already created a major ripple of excitement on the Norwegian jazz scene, for she is a genuine original in the spirit of artists like Sidsel Endressen, with a voice that immediately captivates. She’s pursuing a singular path that also embraces projects for children and theatre, and her music is a personal expression that straddles jazz, electro pop and accoustic blues.
