The word "Manaky" stands for "Monarchy" in the Patois language (Jamaican English) and is not only a great name for a band, but a strong message as well: These guys play real and authentic reggae music throughout Europe. But what what does this mean? Forget all the stereo-typical cliches that attach themselves to this genre of music.The sound is fresh, innovative, vibrant and catchy. Their style is a healthy blend of Soul, Hip-Hop, electronic music as well as a few other styles that might currently be influencing the band members. With their lyrics centred on the problems and opportunities present in today's society, they pay homage to conscious thought awakening words, that were once a trademark of Reggae music and that are now threatened by extinction. These 3 youngsters have found their inner voices and they are able to channel their artistic freedom through this band without any compromises. They would like to radiate all of their happiness and energy to the audience with their recordings and live shows.
