About Medicis
Medicis are a 4-member band - Julien on the vocals, Nicola on the drums, Samai on the bass and Davy on the guitar - who started out in 2002in Pondicherry, a small state in Southern India. Stream there EP, In The Shade at http://nh7.in/medicis/in-the-shade/ They define their music as nu-metal, and it has a tinge of dark metal to it as well, though this manifests itself mostly through the vocals. Nowhere is this more evident than in the song "Disturbed" . "Dead of Night" has been critically acclaimed as well, and features some novel sounds. The band has participated in many national level festivals, such as the Strawberry Fields (NLS) , Mood Indigo - Livewire (IIT Bombay), and various other events, often winning many awards and accolades. They disbanded in 2006.
