About La Vermine
La Vermine is a French Hip Hop collective founded 2006 in Grenoble (38). The crew operates independently and in utter autoproduction, they're children of the DIY philosophy and the alternative scenes. The sound is radically hip hop, heavy-based sampling and vinyl productions; and texts revolving around the themes of social support, anti-establishment, civil disobedience, the fight against all forms of oppression, individual sovereignty, independence, anti-fascism, anti-sexism, cultural revolution, ecology or degrowth ... but also on the condition of French rap, working at their level to develop the alternative scene and to establish a truly engaged hip hop activist network in France. Current lineup: Ed Bazz (MC), Scratchy Djo (Turntablism), M.K.L (Guitar/Bass), Kesmo (Graphist). Former members: Nocive Macrophone (MC), Hermes (MC), 2Fré (Beatmaker), Xtazz (MC), Sito (MC).
