About Kayanis

Kayanis is a Polish composer of ambient electronic music, neo-progressive and symphonic rock. He combines analogue tone of synthesizers with electric guitars and orchestra. Kayanis started his music education at the age of 10 (guitar classes). In 1988 his first band, "Van der Krammer" unexpectedly received second award on Science-Fiction Music Festival in Warsaw. In 1990 he decided to start a solo career. His first album, "Oczekiwanie" ("Awaiting") was released in 1994. Kayanis' next CD was "Machines and Dreams" (1998), followed by "Synesthesis" (2001). The latest project "Where Abandoned Pelicans Die" was released in September 2007. "Transmundane" released 2015.
