There are at least three artists who go by the name of Jill. 1) a freestyle dance singer known for her 1986 single "Match Made Up In Heaven". 2) the English translation tag for the Asian pop singer commonly known as 衛詩. Jill Vidal (Chinese: 衛詩) (born 13 April 1982 in Hong Kong) is a female singer in Hong Kong born of a Filipino father and a Korean-Chinese mother. Jill’s twin sister is Janice, who is also an emerging pop singer in Hong Kong and Asia. By the end of 2005, Jill entered into a contract with the East Asia Record Production, who also has a contract with Janice. She has a deal for North American distribution with AMUSIC who digitally released her album Jillympics through IODA under the tag name Jill in August 2008. She released her debut EP Diamond Love in 2002 and the hit song, Lonely in December of 2005. 3) Pop / alternative rock band based in San Angelo, Texas. Active between 1993 to about 1997.
